Ontario RAT-1 - Black

This is my first of the larger folders I've purchased (I'm used to the Delica 4 FFG) and I would have to say the RAT-1 is worth all the hype it receives in product reviews. It is easy to carry in jeans or cargo pants and the whole fit and feel of the knife is good quality. The handle material could be a little bit grippier, however the ergos make up for this in my opinion. I've been using it for food prep at home to get used to it and the FFG thin blade is a really great slicer. Looking forward to my next camping trip to do more bush tasks with it. If you are looking for a folder that gives you a lot of the benefits of the smaller fixed blade bush knives like the BK-14 or BK-16 this one is well worth looking at.
