Steel
1.4116, X50CrMoV15 - molybdenum-vanadium steel used for high-end knives, cutlery and surgical tools. It is characterized by quite high, as for stainless steels, hardness. Resistant to corrosion in kitchen conditions. It is a recommendable alternative to 1.4034 / X46Cr13 / 4H13. Chemical composition is enriched by Chromium content, addition of Molybdenum and Vanadium.
Blade
Extremely sharp Drop Point shape ideal for all kinds of field work. The black PTFE coating on the blade prevents glare. The smooth Plain blade is Hollow Grind for reduced weight and excellent cutting performance. Large notch makes sharpening easier. The back of the blade has a notched finger ramp (jimping) for greater control of the knife.
Handle
Made of black micarta (compressed canvas with synthetic resin). Chamfered edges on covers eliminate sharp edges for comfortable grip. The covers have been screwed directly to the tang, making the overall construction very rigid and durable. The contoured handle provides good control of the knife. The back has a lanyard hole, a hole for a safety or decorative cord.
Sheath
Hand sewn, made of natural leather in black with embossed producer logo. Mounted to the belt or to the equipment allowing to carry the knife in vertical or horizontal position.
