Buck Knives
It all began with the 110 Folding Hunter. The 110 could be found on a lot of sailor's belts in the Navy. One day, a couple of soldiers got into a fight and the 110 Folding Hunter was used. As a result, the captain issued a decree that knives carried could not have a blade length of a certain size. The 110 ended up being too long, so Buck Knives took the initiative and created the Ranger, a smaller version of the 110. The 112 is another traditional favorite.
As originally introduced in the 1960s the 112 once again features a genuine ebony hardwood handle. This ethically sourced Crelicam ebony supports replanting efforts in the Congo Basin rainforest, while providing Buck Knives with a genuine hardwood handle that is nearly indestructible.

112 Ranger with grooves
Well, I always wondered what a 112 would feel like in the hand especially with the finger grooves as to me the 110 is just one of the most comfortable knives on the planet. Well, I was floored, the 112 is INSANELY comfortable in my kinda biggish meat mallots, it's perfectly weighted, is in definite possession of Bucks awe inspiring build standards/quality control & is in general off the bloody chain in almost every aspect. If you are on the fence about a 110 due to blade length or handle size then the Buck 112 Ranger HAS to be your go to, I personally love them both, but the 112 is kinda like the stocky/sturdy Staffie profile in contrast to the 110's larger Rottie or German Shepard counterpart. The 112 is bloody fantastic then again, Im a Buckahollic.
