Excellent just excellent

The PM2 is an excellent knife with quite a good blade geometry; I have a bunch of them and use them frequently. This new Micarta version feels very nice and overall looks a lot nicer in person than in any photos I’ve seen. It’s a bone-beige color but wears to a light-medium Brown. All unpolished Micarta changes colour so this is normal. Interwebz talk of the Micarta being too thin around the compression lock is nonsense; it’s plenty thick enough to be durable and reliable. I have no concerns here. I can’t comment on CPM-CruWear steel as I haven’t owned it long enough. The finish type on the blade looks very nice; a very high end satin finish that is not too far from beginning to mirror. I’ve not seen this exact finish on Spyderco before.
